Specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
As a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, I enjoy working collaboratively with adults, building a compassionate,
non-judgemental therapeutic space where interventions aim to meet clients' goals and values.

We will identify unhelpful thoughts and behaviours that contribute to emotional stress and learn cognitive strategies and behavioural techniques to reduce distress.

CBT is a structured short-term therapy, 6 - 16 sessions. It is especially effective for anxiety, stress, and depression. Clients learn valuable tools and skills to build healthier ways of coping, manage their mental health and improve their overall well-being.

About
I've experienced depression and anxiety myself, so I understand how difficult they can be. Over time, I’ve developed helpful strategies and skills, drawing from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and other psychological approaches. Treating myself with compassion and kindness has been very helpful.

Following a career in science education, I began my mental health training in a specialist adolescent unit for eating disorders. I went on to train as a CBT therapist for adults, and later qualified as a clinical supervisor within an innovative child and adolescent service based in primary and secondary schools.

I find great fulfillment in supporting clients as they reclaim their lives and move forward.
